Could this Tasty Tea Reduce Water Weight and Aid Digestion?

How’s your digestion?

The more we age, the more health issues occasionally pop up. Gotta love getting older!

During my first visit to a Nutritional Therapist, we spoke about healthy nutrition.

She also reviewed my complete health history through a series of questions.

Check out this helpful interview about healthy nutrition.

The nutritionist performed a physical exam reviewing the tongue, fingernails & skin and a did comprehensive dietary review along with a Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA).

What’s a BIA?

A BIA is method for estimating body composition, and measuring body fat. It can also tell you if you are retaining water.

One of the things My BIA revealed was that I was indeed retaining water, so she recommended Dandelion tea.

Dandelion leaves are one of the best natural sources of potassium and are well-known for their diuretic action (i.e. increasing the flow of urine). The herb has been used as a diuretic for centuries to treat water retention (oedema), lymphatic swellings, kidney stones and obesity” as quoted in Naturemedica.com.

Dandelion also promotes liver health, aids digestion, and is a good coffee substitute.

Even though I’m not a huge tea drinker, I ordered the suggested tea from Amazon and it did NOT disappoint!

The first thing I noticed was the heavenly smell which reminded me of vanilla coffee.

I am extremely sensitive to smells, but could smell THIS tea all day long.

Not only does it smell delightful, but it has a smooth delicious flavor and is without a doubt, one of the best teas I’ve ever tasted (or smelled).

I believe it’s doing good things for my body and I drink it every morning now.

It’s Gluten Free, Certified Organic, Non-GMO, Caffeine Free and Sugar Free.
