How Solution Focused Therapy Can Help You Achieve Goals!

OK, I’ll admit it, I read all three books in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, and even saw the movies!
I couldn’t tear myself away from the books, and the first two movies were so-so, the third one rocked!
If you read the books, you might remember that Christian Grey saw a therapist for Solution Focused Based Therapy or SFBT.
I checked and it’s a real thing!
What is Solution Focused Based Therapy SFBT?
“SFBT is future-focused, goal-directed, and focuses on solutions, rather than problems” according to the Institute for Solution Focused Therapy.
Check out the video below that explains more:
SFBT helps you achieve goals. It celebrates small successes and brings them into awareness in order to repeat the successes.
Walk Talk Therapy
Another helpful therapy is “Walk Talk” therapy! “Walk Talk Therapy is just like it sounds. The client and the therapist are outside walking during therapy instead of sitting inside an office”.
Walk Talk therapy provides a great mind/body connection. It’s good exercise and activates the brain!
