Did you know that gratitude and kindness, and have a way of complementing each other?

Many of us get caught up in the stress and forget the “little things” that bring us joy!

Life is much simpler when we can stop and be grateful for everything around us.

Psychology Today says “Studies have linked gratitude with increased satisfaction, motivation, and energy; better sleep and health; and reduced stress and sadness. Grateful people are much more engaged with their environment, leading to greater personal growth and self-acceptance, and stronger feelings of purpose, meaning, and specialness“.

There are so many ways to be grateful for such as:

Here are 9 acts of kindness could help brighten another person’s day:

  1. Text a genuine compliment to a friend.
  2. Share a happy memory with a family member or friend.
  3. Mail a greeting card to someone with an encouraging message inside.
  4. Leave an uplifting note in a public place, like a library, restaurant or coffee shop.
  5. Donate warm clothes or blankets to a local charity, maybe you can attach a cheerful note to the item.
  6. Schedule a virtual coffee or tea date with a friend to catch up.
  7. Leave a positive comment on a friend’s social media post.
  8. Create a joyful graphic and text it to someone.
  9. Record a quick message on your phone, wishing someone a great day.
